Terms of Service
The working terms for DMMERAKI’s bookkeeping, preparation and advisory services.
Last updated: 23 October 2026
1. Who these terms cover
These terms apply between you and DMMERAKI LIMITED (Company No. 16350247), registered office: 18 Swift Way, Thurlby, Bourne, PE10 0QA, United Kingdom. By confirming a quote, you accept these terms.
2. Services and scope
We provide bookkeeping, Self Assessment preparation, VAT record preparation, cloud accounting setup and operational advisory sessions, as described on each service page. We are not chartered accountants: we do not issue audit or assurance opinions, and tax returns are submitted by you or your appointed agent after your review — we prepare, you confirm.
3. Quotes and orders
Every engagement starts with a free 30-minute review of your records. We then send a fixed written quote by email. Work starts only after you confirm the quote by email. The quote states the service, the monthly transaction band (for bookkeeping plans) and the fee.
4. Fees and payment
Monthly plans are billed monthly in advance by bank transfer, against our invoice (14 days). One-off preparation work (for example Self Assessment or VAT return papers) is quoted and invoiced separately. Software subscriptions, where recommended, are contracted and paid by you directly with the software provider.
5. Your responsibilities
You provide complete and truthful records (invoices, receipts, statements) in good time, respond to queries, and confirm figures we prepare before any submission. We can only be as accurate as the records we are given.
6. Cancellation, refunds and liability
Monthly plans can be cancelled with 30 days’ written notice; unused whole months paid in advance are refunded. One-off work can be cancelled before it starts for a full refund. Our liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before it arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
7. Complaints
Complaints go first to services@dmmeraki.services. We acknowledge within 3 working days and aim to resolve within 15 working days.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, whose courts have jurisdiction.
